Before founding 13 Guys Named Ed with Jason Katzwinkel, Jeff was the Manager of Information Technology for Bridge Associates (a mid-market corporate restructuring firm) for nearly ten years. He was responsible for the daily management of all IT aspects of the company as well as the strategic planning and implementation of new technologies and services for the company’s 40+ employees and contractors.
Jeff’s experience with corporate information technology infrastructure and the restructuring industry have allowed him to develop features and functions for 13GNE’s products. He understands the unique requirements for professionals that have directly lead to the creation of 13GNE’s business philosophy. He is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. A native of the Chicago area, he now resides in Clearwater, Florida with his wife and young daughter.

Prior to founding 13 Guys Named Ed with Jeff Juszczak, Jason worked as a freelance web and graphic designer for design firms in Chicago, Tampa and Jackson Hole. Prior to that, he worked in corn futures at The Chicago Board of Trade, and in advertising at The Chicago Sun-Times. Only some of these positions are relevant to design, but all of them reveal an inner core of rock-solid work ethic with just a whiff of crazy.
When not bringing clients to the brinks of pleasure thresholds, Jason enjoys the leisure activities of reading, writing, drawing, web design, programming, 3D rendering, and the crippling of friendships through Scrabble and unflagging cerebral ninjitsu.
